History
Molecular Products Inc
Chemical technology for the purification of air to preserve life and protect the environment.
1978
Molecular Products Inc started as a division of Ionex Research Corporation focused on the development of cation-exchanged zeolites, primarily silver zeolites.
1985
Ionex began manufacturing high-activity impregnated activated carbons in response to a new demand for safer, higher-performance adsorbents for NIOSH-certified respirator filter cartridges. Impregnated carbons were later marketed under the trade name Carbon & Carbon Chemicals.
1995
Cation-exchanged zeolite and activated carbon manufacturing ultimately developed into an independent business under the name C*CHEM Inc. The new company continued to offer an extensive range of carbon and catalyst based chemical products.
2002
C*CHEM Inc. was bought by the Molecular Products Group and became known as Molecular Products Inc. The acquisition and integration created a stronger Group with extended product offerings and global technical and marketing resources.
The Future
Molecular Products Inc. has experienced substantial and continued growth as a part of a group of companies that sells to more than 80 countries and looks forward to a strong and healthy future.
