Molecular Products offer a comprehensive range of chemical technologies for purification and revitalisation of mainly breathable gases.
These products can be grouped under three distinct application areas – Carbon Dioxide Absorption, Oxygen Generation and Gas Filtration.
CO2 Absorbent
Sofnolime is Molecular Products\' brand name for soda lime, a mixture of calcium and sodium hydroxides. Soda lime is an absorbent for removal of carbon dioxide and other acidic contaminants from gas streams.
Oxygen Generators
Molecular Products range of Oxygen Generators provide chemically stored Oxygen. The high purity oxygen is released in a controlled manner, via thermal decomposition of chlorate compounds. Molecular Products Ltd has been producing Oxygen Generators for many years, predominantly for use in Navy Submarines.
Gas Filtration
There are many applications where contaminants need to be removed from gases. Molecular Products Ltd has a range of gas filtration products, including absorbents (Sofnolime, Sofnocarb), oxidation catalysts (Moleculite, Sofnocat), impregnated alumina (Ethysorb, Sofnofil) and molecular sieve (Sofnosiv).
